The concept of Anakin Skywalker applied to the Harry Potter series? Or does this one already know he’s evil? (As you can tell, I haven’t seen the new movie yet.)
He pretty much knows he’s evil. It’s not as obvious in the movie as in the book.
He’s a creepy little bugger in the movie. He keeps his voice so level and his expression is so guarded that we only really see a glimpse of the fervor that lays behind the cool facade.
I was to see the new Harry Potter last night. Because of this post I was looking forward to see the young Voldemort. His acting so wasn’t one of the finest. But that didn’t do the movie any bad. Just because the movie wasn’t good at all. They added scenes which were not in the book and they keept out important scenes. In my opinion te book was about Snape, the movie is all about the relationships between Ron and Herminie and Harry and Ginni. It is completely missing the mistery and magic from the first books and movies. I for my part think it was a very boring movie and a waste of 2,5 hours. Even the little boy sitting next to me said during break he’d need new popcorn to keep himself from falling asleep during the second half.
Yeah, I was really disappointed in the movie. I still like Hero’s portrayal of an 11 yr old Voldemort.
Isn’t this book supposedf to be split into two movies? Or is this the movie in two parts?
I didn’t like the last movie. Draco seemed to be just a tattle-tale smirking in the background.
But I still think Rupert is HAWT.
The Half-Blood Prince had very little to do with Snape. They actually toned down the relationship drama quite a bit for the movie. The book was about learning about Voldemort and the trio growing up and realizing what they needed to do. They deleted quite a lot of the building of Ginny and Harry’s relationship, as well as more between Ron and Hermione and Ron and Lavendar. The kid did a pretty good job, as did many of the others. I was rather impressed by Felton’s handling of the role of Draco in this movie. It is the final book that is broken into two parts. Although they should have done so with the movies starting with book 4.
