I’ve got to learn how to do that in Photoshop.
Get your COLOUR picture as it has all the tones in it -Photoshop – desaturate to B&W with the colour slider…choose channels, try taking green out and boosting contrast. If its no good put it back in and try the others but its usually the green channel – ASK a friend what they think or have something as a benchmark for the effect you want to get..Photoshop CS can help too but I’m a bit of a purist..get the shot..do as little as possible to achieve the effect you desire..that’s me though..hope this helps.
